Big Week

It has been a big week for Grant. On Saturday he cut his first tooth. Yipee!

Last night he finally crawled. I screamed when I saw him, and it scared him. I have got to stop doing that.

The rash is almost gone! You should see how cute he is without it! You can really see those dimples now.

I think I am done nursing him. We will see how the night goes. If so, I am getting a donut tomorrow. A really big donut.

Kman's Fashion Sense

So Kman brought up his black sweatpants and a blue , gray and red hand-me down Tshirt from Zac that is way too big to wear to preschool today. I went down to his closet and brought up his red shirt that goes with the black pants and told him to wear that instead because it matched. He told me "Men don't care if they match." Then he put on the black sweatpants and striped shirt, and tucked the striped tshirt into his pants and said, "So no one will know it is too big." THEN he went outside to see if it was warm enough to wear his flip flops. He looks ridiculous.

Yesterday Blake and I took Reese, Logan, and Cooper to the cabin on the snowmobile with metal sled behind it. I thought I could stand on the back (it has a bar like a dog sled) while a couple of the boys rode on the sled with our stuff. Oh boy, what a ride. I was so sore from the bouncing up and down and trying to hold on. So, we got to the drive way and Blake was taking a wide circle so the snowmobile would be facing the right way when we leave, and...... you're not gonna believe this but he HIT a tree!!!!!!!! and where did I go? Over the bar and off the side doing a sideways twist and roll, OUCH!!!! Blake laughs. That is not all the fun I had, oh no, after I got down the hill to the cabin, not being abel to tell if I should go in the front or back door, I went to the front ( also to tell Logan not to go down the hill in front because he might sink) my left leg sunk clear to my ****
you know all the way and I was stuck. I call Blake on the cell phone (you gotta love cell phones)
he says just a minute. Then as snow is melting in my boot and freezing my leg, he, you guessed it, laughs and then proceeds to ask me why I was going in that way, he never goes in that door!!!!! this is a funny story, NOW.
So that you will not think it was all a bust, even though I am still sore.
The boys had a blast sledding down the drive way and making snow caves. We also had fun playing Go Fish, Slap Jack and Memory.

There is a bald eagle handing out at the pond and I was lucky enough to get a pretty good pic of it.

We're Having a ...

BOY! In case you didn't know ... but I'm pretty sure you all do. This will be the fourth consecutive grandson born in the family, right? Asher, Grant, baby D, and now baby L.

The real me.

See what you have to look forward to, Heidi!

HUGE

I get comments almost daily about how its impossible for me to get any more HUGE. People either ask how many babies I am having, if the dr. got the due date wrong, or how far over due I am. So I decided to start taking weekly pictures to start proving that it is in fact possible for my belly to get bigger. Much thanks to Millie for cutting off my head in the picture and to Levi for making the picture something worth looking at. By the way, this is 28 weeks. I still have at least 10 more weeks to grow. Ugh.

Cute Llewellyn Ladies

I think we are pretty darn HOT.

Guess what! Ashley and I are both track coaches at Spanish Fork High School. She coaches the hurdles, and you guessed it..... I coach the long jump. Ashley knows tons about the hurdles and I know nothing about the long jump (except for what I read on wikipedia and other random websites. I have also watched a lot of youtube videos) but don't tell the kids on the track team that because they probably think that I am really good at the long job. Ashley actually did hurdles in high school and I have probably never long jumped in my life. Coaching track is pretty fun. I think we get paid like $4 an hour so it is well worth our time.
Right now we are in the process of trying to find an apartment. Hopefully we find one this week.

Surprises!

We go in for the "BIG" ultrasound tomorrow at 4 in the afternoon! Can't wait to find out if baby is a boy or a girl! I'm a little nervous - I just hope the baby is doing well and that everything looks good. And I'm finally starting to show a bit. Although it mostly just looks like I'm fat. I can still suck most of it in, but there is a little bump regardless. Yay.

In other news, Rob surprised me with a kindle Saturday morning! I was pretty skeptical about it, but now that I have one, I LOVE IT! I've already got close to 60 books on it, and they were all free! And they're the classics, too (gotta love public domain). Now I just need to get a case for it, so it's protected when I take it places. Rob told me this was probably the last time he would be able to spoil me with fun stuff ... sad. But oh well! Gotta think of the baby ... ha ha.

p.s. Todd and Ashley- you're getting married in a MONTH! crazy But like you need me to remind you! Yay for weddings!

At the Cabin, Puppies, and Rash Update

We had a great time at mom's house over President's day weekend. Kory and Kellen went to the cabin with Dad and Robert. As you can see from the photo they had a great time. Kellen got to sled behind the snowmobile, and down the road to the cabin. Kory also built him a little snow cave. Inside the cabin he got to watch Peter Pan, and eat whatever he wanted. The kid is a bottomless pit.
Pinkie was tickled to get to play with the puppies several time. She cried when she thought she might not get to see them again. When the puppies would bite her hand she would scream "Ouch!" with the hugest smile on her face.

When we got home from mom's house, I about had a breakdown over Grant's rash. I finally decided to buck up and do the allergy elimination diet: no wheat, dairy, peanuts, soy, eggs, fish. That pretty much leaves, fruits and vegetables, meat, and rice. After one day there was significant improvement. The next day we had sweet pork salad for dinner. I fed Gman some rice and beans from my salad. The next morning the rash was bad again. We decided it was the beans, so now I am not eating beans either. (I can eat green beans, not the other type.) Since then we have seen some improvement each day. It is so nice to get some relief, but now we need to decide what to do next. I am not sure how long I can last on this diet, and Grant is close approaching his first birthday when I would wean him anyway.

If anyone has any dairy/gluten/bean/egg/soy/peanut/fish free dinner ideas please let me know.

In other news....Kellen was sick for most of last week. Puking and diarreha for five days! I though he would wither away into nothing since he wouldn't even eat. Finally on Monday he was better.

Also, Kiran is turning 8 in September and is super excited to get baptized. With General Conference the first week of October, her baptism will be the last Saturday in September. We would love to have anyone there that can come.
