What's in my crock pot?

I should be at church, but it's practically impossible with a nap-ready one-year-old. Ash is in bed sleeping to his Beatles lullaby CD. Brooks is at church. I'm just hanging out here at home smelling the delicious roast in the crock pot. It's a new recipe to me. Here's the recipe in case you want to try it too. Cousin Rachel gave it to me.
