2 cm and about 90% effaced. His head is "right there" and she said he's at about a level 0 (all you moms know what that means; for all you other people, there's a system for sort of measuring how low the baby is sitting in your pelvic area. The highest is a +2, then a +1, then 0, -1, and -2. I think -2 is crowning (obviously the lowest level). She also sounded like she expects my water to break relatively soon- it's really tight, apparently. At the end of my appointment, she said, "Well, I'll see you next week, or sooner!" Good grief!
p.s. I also tested negative for Group B Strep. Yay! No iv for me!

Baby Shower
We had a fun and delicious baby shower for Heidi on Saturday. It was her first baby shower! You can tell what part was most important to me — the food. I didn't even take a picture of the mom-to-be or any of the guests!
I think it's safe to say that we are all dying to meet Rob Jr. Only one more month to go!

pool time
My neighbors have a pool. I'm serious. A real, in-ground pool. Whether they know it or not, I'm planning to spend a good chunk of my summer in their yard. Here are some pics of Ash enjoying some pool time.

Stats
I am at 1 cm and 80% effaced as of today. Jr. is sitting pretty low (the doctor was surprised at how low he already is) and she thinks he'll be around 8 pounds. Yikes.

Pinkie's Ballet
Pinkie had her ballet performance on Saturday. She was fabulous of course. Doesn't she look all grown up in her costume?
We are so lucky to have a wonderful ballet studio here in our town. The teacher is magnificent. She teaches the girls to be great people as well as great dancers.

Vacation!!!
We also went out to a place called La Jolla. It was a really nice tourist town. There is a look out that you can drive up to so you can see all of San Diego and the ocean. It is really cool! The beaches is La Jolla were really cool. There is a beach there that is full of seals. We had lots of fun looking at them. We ate at the Burger Lounge. I think this picture does a good job of showing how good it was.
Here is a picture of the beach in La Jolla. I think if you look close you can see the seals in the background.
Monday we went to a Island that is right next to San Diego called Coronado. It's not much of an island because there is a short bridge that takes you to it. We loved the beach at Coronado. I recommend it if you ever go to San Diego. We pretty much spent the whole day at the beach. We both got sun burnt pretty bad. Later in the day we stopped by Old Town San Diego. It was really cool. We stopped by the Mormon Battalion visitor center too. We didn't know it was there so it was a fun surprise.
Tuesday was our last day in San Diego. We didn't really know what we were going to do. Since we were in San Diego we decided to go to the zoo. It was awesome. Ashley's favorite was the polar bears and my favorite was the orangutans. That night we drove to our hotel in Anaheim.
Wednesday we went to Disneyland. We had a lot of fun but it really wore us out.
Thursday we went to California Adventure. We both liked it a little more than Disneyland. The lines seemed to be shorter and we had more fun on the rides.
Friday we didn't really know what to do. We drove to Hollywood and we didn't like it at all. I think we were there for like 10 minutes. We also drove out to Newport Beach. The highlight of the day the Angels vs Yankees baseball game. It was really fun.
We had tons of fun on the trip but on Saturday we were ready to get home. Sorry this is long. I guess I don't have to make a blog post for a while now.

Blonde
You might not recognize this baby if you haven't seen him for a while. He is getting blonder by the minute.
